matthew sherman

founder & creative director

matthew sherman has a mission to raise the vibration of miami by making clean eating fun, one jugofresh at a time. sherman received his bachelor’s degree from the university of maryland of baltimore county in psychology and interdisciplinary studies, a certification as a holistic and nutrition coach from the institute of integrative nutrition, and a master’s degree in sports and exercise psychology from barry university. sherman officially launched jugofresh in may 2012 as a cold-pressed juice company. the company has expanded into various health food options, catering to thousands of clients daily in south florida.

IN THE BEGINNING IT WAS a couple of dedicated people working from my house, starting at 4am every day. becaUse we loved it.

chef paco

aka: darren laszlo

chef paco is a classically trained chef who has accepted the challenge of making health food that is as culinary-driven as his training. a new york city native and graduate of the culinary institute of america, laszlo has worked under celebrated talents such as famed cuban-american chef alex garcía, scott fratangelo (of spigolo) and franck deletrain (of the four seasons), among other restaurants. paco and matt met in baltimore and after matt wined and dined him on ashrams and el gringos, chef paco decided to take his talents to south beach.
